How Mahali's cross-brand cart and merchant checkout work

Learn how to shortlist products across brands, select available options, and complete a separate checkout with each merchant through Mahali.

1. One shopping list, separate merchant orders

Mahali lets you keep products from different approved brands in a cross-brand cart. That is a convenient way to organize a shopping session, not a combined order. Items are grouped by merchant, and each merchant group opens its own checkout.

Payment, shipping, delivery, returns, and customer service remain with the merchant. Buying from two brands can mean two shipping charges, two confirmations, and different delivery dates. A cart total is not a promise of one parcel or one delivery fee.

2. Select the exact options before adding

Open each product and choose the size, color, or other required options. Check that the selected combination is available, then set the quantity you want. Product photos and the first displayed variant may not correspond to the combination you intend to purchase.

Treat your cart as a working list, not a reservation. Stock and prices may change between discovery and checkout. Recheck the product and final merchant checkout if you return later. Cart entries expire after 30 days without activity on that entry; saves do not expire in the same way.

3. Review each merchant group

Before starting checkout, check the products, selected options, and quantities for that merchant. If you are signed in, Mahali reconciles your cart with your account. If an item is no longer available or has been removed, revisit the catalog rather than assuming an old cart entry can still be ordered.

Start checkout for one merchant at a time. Mahali may show a preparation screen before opening the merchant checkout. Where tracked checkout is available, completion depends on the merchant's reported checkout status, not on whether you opened or closed the checkout tab. A catalog-provided checkout link can be offered as a fallback.

  • Verify the exact variant and quantity for every line.
  • Check the merchant name and the checkout currency.
  • Review shipping, taxes or other charges, and the final payable amount.
  • Read delivery, exchange, and returns terms before payment.

4. Confirm the order before moving to the next brand

Complete the merchant checkout and keep its order confirmation. Simply closing a tab does not establish that payment or an order succeeded. If the outcome is unclear, check the merchant's confirmation or contact the merchant before attempting the same order again.

Return to Mahali to continue with another merchant group. Signed-in shoppers can review recorded completed orders in Orders when checkout completion has been confirmed. An order record is not live delivery tracking, and a checkout that has not been confirmed complete must not be treated as a completed purchase.

5. Keep after-sales questions with the merchant

Use the merchant's confirmation and support channels for delivery changes, cancellation requests, returns, or refunds. Mahali does not hold the inventory, process the payment, or operate fulfillment. Keep each merchant's conditions with its own order, especially when you buy from several brands in one session.
